  • I have been a part of Sabre Holding’s Human Resources team since August, 2008. During the first phase of my job as a “Payroll Analyst” I was part of the team in charge of processing the necessary data for payroll payment of almost 1000 company employees. This data was sent to our outsourced payroll service provider (located abroad). I also undertook monitoring tasks, such as controlling processed information and I acted as a link between the employees and the outsourced service provider regarding any type of questions related to processed information.
  • During the course of 2009 I was in charge of the “Payroll” project which involved putting an end to the outsourced payroll payment and payroll information processing service. It also involved starting off internal processing of payroll information. On the last period I was in charge of the following tasks:
  • Preparing payroll accounting entries and sending them to our International Finance and Accounting Departments.
  • Providing support to the Payroll Team regarding financial and accounting issues.
  • Monitoring the reliability and accuracy level of the accounting information that is sent out, comparing monthly accounting entries and explanations about deviations, monitoring accounting entries.
  • Auditing the payroll process.
  • Forecasting process related with payroll: analyzing and requesting the necessary funds to cover monthly payroll expenses.
  • Preparing and presenting quarterly reports to the Directors of each business unit.
  • Managing the payroll system; acting as a link between the Payroll Team and our software provider.
  • Preparing the tax returns of expatriates.
